Sea Life

Here on The Grand Strand you will come across many different sea life. The ocean is their home and many come on shore so please be mindful to the wild life.

When on the beach please pick up after yourself (trash and firework debris, each beach access has a trash can) and fill in the holes and break down sandcastles when you leave. Many areas do not allow tents or to leave the frames of the pop-up tents because it could be a hazard but it also can prevent a momma turtle to lay her eggs.

Lights out at night! We want to give momma turtle her space while she lays her eggs. We understand how amazing it is to see this happening but please give her her space to do what she needs to do.

Keeping our beaches clean and our sea life save let's our beach family come year after year enjoying a well needed vacation.
